All moving companies operate based on hourly rates and circumstantial fees. Every move has multiple variables that need to be considered when estimating cost, therefore, an in-home estimate is the only way to get a more accurate estimate for the cost of your residential or commercial move. If your move is 6+ weeks out, schedule with our moving coordinator so we can be sure to get you on our schedule. We cannot offer estimates by phone but we can disclose average move times based on similar moves upon request. Average move times are not estimates.
Estimates in moving are not binding as they are strictly regulated by the hourly rates and fees from the ODOT. If you have any concerns on how long your move may take, please call or email us and we will be glad to give a free estimate.

Insurance
Insurance Coverage:
Moving insurance is dispersed by the pound per the ODOT regulation. The standard insurance covers 60 cents per pound but no more than the total assessed value of the item. There is additional coverage available for purchase before your move that increases the coverage to $6.00 per pound.
Insurance covers furniture items and boxes packed by Priority Moving.
Items not covered by insurance include: boxes packed by shipper, electronics not in their original box, items of extraordinary value, coins, deeds, notes, postage stamps, letters, drafts or valuable papers of any kind, jewelry, precious stones or precious metals, items requiring temperature control, internal damage to electronics when no visible sign of damage can be seen to the item or packaging, live plants, perishable items, glass or marble slate not crated, framed art or sculptures not crated, fragile items that should be crated or boxed, assembled furniture (with MDF, particle or chip board construction such as Ikea), items with preexisting damages, items where damage occurs to an area of previous repair.
